...Interplays and positional freedom

[RangersTactic @RangersTactic]

...Danny Rohl for instance, using an almost total football like positional interchange worked when teams didn't want the ball. The issue of modern Scottish football is the introduction to possessional style play, where the high lines, high press can be broke through with short...

[RangersTactic @RangersTactic]

From my point of view, the mcinnes style has been a slow integration, rangers sides since Gerrard have commonly adopted a more tiki-taka like approach, almost gegenpress at times. High press, high lines. The pace of the likes of Balogun/Goldson allowing a slightly higher line....

[RangersTactic @RangersTactic]

Allowing players like Ryan Naderi obviously stepping in for Shankland to be disruptors & allows changing interplays between him & Kim Minsu between the No.9 & No.10 roles. Repeatedly causing issues for the motherwell flat back 4.

[RangersTactic @RangersTactic]

which is an interesting, pragmatic approach to the SPFL as more & more sides are aiming to dictate possession, motherwell, st mirren, hearts & falkirk predominantly, utilising the lower block allows rangers to dictate proceedings without risking over extending high up the pitch.

[RangersTactic @RangersTactic]

@RangersFC utilising a very modern mid block today allowing motherwell possession within their own half but still being able to control the "sense of the game" is directly why i subjectively believed Mcinnes is the right man.

7️⃣ Ready?

[Magnússon Propaganda Department 🇮🇸 @Scott50290617]

Rangers saying they want Shankland is like us saying that we want Mbappe. Never going to happen. He is on contract with us until 2028 so you can fuck off Rangers. Pure shite rumours like 24 months ago all over again to unsettle him. Cunts.

proper club villa. Hope they do it tonight 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

[red in the socks @Colonel_Cabbage]

has there been an explanation as to why the race hasn't been red flagged? Surely the team's would rather get back into the garage instead of drivin at 10% for 4+ hours.

A mean, you see columnist for the national and it aw makes immediate sense🤣🤣🤣🤣

[Lesley Riddoch @LesleyRiddoch]

Commentators urged Kenny McLean not to risk Scotland's lead & just settle for good enough. Then a man with a reputation for caution, lifted his head, spotted a possibility, trusted himself & smashed every mediocre expectation of Scots to smithereens. Huge.
