🚨THIS was the “threat” that required deadly force?

HeeHaw was a 3-foot-tall, 1-year-old donkey … bottle-raised, accustomed to people and gentle enough to appear at petting zoos.

Yet after officers entered the property in the middle of the night, one officer reportedly felt threatened enough by this tiny animal to shoot him.

I keep coming back to the same question:

If a police officer cannot safely handle an encounter with a 3-foot-tall young donkey standing in his own pasture, what happens when that officer encounters an actual dangerous situation?

The public shouldn’t have to take anyone’s word for what happened.

Release the bodycam footage.

Let people watch it themselves and decide just how much of a “threat” little HeeHaw really posed.

🚨#BREAKING: The police officer who sh0t and k*lled the miniature donkey 'HeeHaw" in Georgia has been identified as Officer Trenton Garner.

In his official report, the officer stated that the minature donkey "charged" at him.

A K-9 handler then deployed his taser at HeeHaw, which, "did not deter the donkey"...

Officer Garner then said:

..."so I removed my department issued Glock 17 from its holster and pointed it at the donkey. I then fired a single round striking the donkey,”

Garner also wrote that he and K-9 units from multiple agencies “spooked” horses who ran away, but HeeHaw "charged" at them.

Hannah, the owner, said he would NEVER charged at anyone and he constantly goes to petting zoos with kids and adults at NURSING HOMES and has never once charged at anyone.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture is investigating and the officer has been placed on leave.

To put it simply, the selection process is no longer how it was. Many of these young LEOs—not all, but many—were probably bullied growing up. It bothers me when I see a perp getting shot while the cop empties his magazine, usually of 15 shots. In my day we carried revolvers with just 6 shots. These youngsters need more training or better psych evals.
