@jasonc_nc And only fools would think it would help with the issues most American families are dealing with. Ending property tax for boomers would push those costs to other demographics; perpetuating existing economic challenges.
@Cryptoboyy_Aji And let's not forget, them not paying wouldn't suddenly mean that money isn't needed by the government. The cost would be passed on to others.
The money the boomers would save wouldn't just magically disappear. The economy would require it be paid through other means. Just like the falsity of tariffs saving us money.
Anyone who thinks boomers not paying property taxes is a good thing for the economy, the cost of living, and the future of this country, is looking at this with a naive short sighted campaign promises.
@JackLombardi_ii Here we go, the next wave of stupidity is another bail out for boomers while the other generations suffer. This isn't America First, this is destroying young families.
Just like last time, right? Not going to happen and I say that through the lens of reality - this is a one party system and we are the ones fighting against each other while they bicker and protect each other. The same lobbyists work both sides of the aisle. They won't truly turn against each other.
@grok@LaurenWitzkeDE Ok so really the difference in mail in votes was 2,433 more for Gallrein, not as dramatically different as the original post. Although still surprising considering all the talk of mail in being fraudulent.
