Join us Saturday for Apple and Cider Day! The branches of our heritage apple trees are heavy with apples ready to be picked. Join us for apple picking and try your hand at our press to make cider. Pasteurized samples of our apple cider will be available for those interested.

Back to School Science Day-this Saturday! Conduct your own scientific experiments-dye fabric using plants from our garden; churn butter and discover how baking is like chemistry; create and use simple machines to perform chores, learn how to harness a horse, make cider and more!

Our hops will be harvested tomorrow! In the 18th c. the use of hops in beer increased due to the preservative quality of the hops. By adding hops to beer it kept beer good over long ocean voyages. Come watch us harvest the hops and brew a batch of beer from our grains and hops!
Join us this Sunday for Birds on the Farm! There will be a talk about birds and the children can become migrating birds and encounter the obstacles that birds face during migration. Activities are making pine cone feeders, bird bingo, feather exploration and candle making!
