Good talk with President Zelenskyy. Norway continues to stand with Ukraine.
Faced with persistent and massive attacks by Russia, it is more important than ever to support the Ukrainian people. Air defence is a crucial part of this.
I spoke with the Prime Minister of Norway. I am grateful to @jonasgahrstore for his support and words of condolence over the loss of our people the day before as a result of Russia’s massive attack. Twenty-three people were killed by Russian missiles and drones, and another 151 were wounded. It is important that Ukraine is not alone when Russia carries out such terrorist strikes.
We discussed air defense supplies – Norway is ready to help, thank you! We are also working to ensure that Europe has its own anti-ballistic capabilities – we must fully accomplish this shared task and provide Europe with its own system strong enough to protect against ballistic threats. When Europe is protected against ballistic missiles, it will boost confidence not just for someone alone on our continent, but truly for all Europeans. We are also preparing for meetings in the near future – there will be special formats for our work. Thank you, Norway!
A Russian missile exploded right at launch!
During preparations for another large-scale missile strike against Ukraine, a major accident reportedly occurred. One of the key missiles (preliminary reports suggest it may have been an Oreshnik) exploded immediately after launch.
The blast was reportedly so powerful that it completely destroyed the launcher, nearby missiles, and part of the equipment at the launch site. The resulting fire and chain detonations are said to have spread to other launchers as well.
According to these reports, the Kremlin was preparing to strike Ukraine but instead suffered a major setback that could significantly disrupt its planned military operations.

❗️Norway is ready to provide Ukraine with air defense assistance.
Zelenskyy announced this after his conversation with the Prime Minister of Norway.
The President also emphasized joint efforts to create a strong European anti-ballistic system to protect the entire continent.
Today, during the Ukraine–NATO Council meeting, many countries said they see Ukraine in NATO. And that is absolutely true. No one said they don’t want to see us there, but some remain silent on the matter. As they say about both the EU and NATO – unanimity is required.
As for the EU, we do have unanimity. As for NATO, we do not yet. But I believe that most countries truly understand that Ukraine in NATO is something NATO needs no less than Ukraine does. I believe that even the Russians need Ukraine to be in NATO. Because in the future, it could be painful for them if Ukraine is not in NATO.

🔥 Ukrainian deep strikes in St. Petersburg successfully targeted the Russian guided-missile corvette "Boykiy" and hit the Veleshchinsky dry dock, striking the historic "cradle of the Russian Navy."
Today, representatives of all Allied countries were present here in Ukraine at the NATO–Ukraine Council – after Russia tried to squeeze our partners out of the country and intimidate embassies.
The result was a highly symbolic meeting in Kyiv. Its main message is clear: Ukraine should be supported more. Especially in areas such as anti-ballistic capabilities.
Our partners have decided on new contributions to the PURL initiative – they are coming in June. We are also doing everything possible to accelerate Europe’s work on its own anti-ballistic capabilities.
Whoopsie: Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump are taking over protected Albanian land in a $1.4 billion project to build luxury resorts and an Israeli-linked development.
The Albanian prime minister changed the law to make it happen. Now his house is burning.
The Trump's don't know how hated they really are.
The Northern flank is getting its diplomatic ducks in a row.
On June 1-2, Baltic, Nordic, and U.S. officials gathered in Tallinn and Narva under the E-PINE (Enhanced Partnership in Northern Europe) format to coordinate positions ahead of the NATO leaders’ summit in Ankara this July. The meeting covered Ukraine, deterrence, and defense industry cooperation, but the subtext was clear: the northern flank wants to arrive in Ankara as a coherent bloc, not a collection of individual wish lists.
Participants underscored the need to intensify joint action on societal resilience as hybrid threats intensify, border security challenges mount, and Russia’s shadow fleet continues to threaten stability in the Baltic Sea region.
Latvia’s Foreign Minister Baiba Braže has been among the most vocal going into the summit, pressing allies to close the gap between rhetoric and spending. Latvia is already near 4% of GDP on defense and has set a target of 5% – a benchmark that makes most NATO members look underfunded by comparison.
The Ankara summit, scheduled for July 7-8 at Turkey’s Presidential Complex, will be the alliance’s 36th leaders’ meeting and Turkey’s first since the 2004 Istanbul summit. Ankara has signaled it wants the gathering to reaffirm unity. Whether that unity survives contact with the spending debate is the real question.
The E-PINE consultations are part of a broader pattern of pre-summit coordination along NATO’s northeastern edge. On June 9, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal will host the full NB8 prime ministers’ summit in Tallinn, with security, defense industry, Ukraine support, and AI on the agenda. Estonia holds the NB8 chair this year and is using the position to maximum effect.
The message from the Baltic-Nordic corridor is consistent: more spending, stronger deterrence, and no backsliding on Ukraine. The question is how much of that agenda survives the broader alliance politics that will dominate Ankara.

The Russian airforce is trying to hide these flights at great lengths, but clearly they are transferring North Korean troops to the Kursk region of Russia and possibly Belarus.
🚨 THAT SHOULD SET OFF ALARM BELLS INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE.
According to the analysis, Trump hasn't just lost support nationally.
He's losing ground everywhere.
🔥 Every single state.NIncluding deep-red states that are supposed to be politically untouchable.
The most stunning number?
Wyoming.
The most pro-Trump state in America.

Even states like Florida and Ohio reportedly moved from positive territory to negative.
Bigger than NATO?
Ukraine has quietly built the world’s largest drone force, deploying 25,000–40,000 active combat UAV pilots and around 80,000 personnel involved in drone operations.
Dedicated drone units now operate across more than 100 brigades, reshaping the battlefield and redefining modern warfare.
