@ItsThumper76 A lot of small clubs will sell their best players to the big clubs collect a large fee and use that money to either invest in the academy or buy other players. Not like college football where they just take and get nothing in return
@ItsThumper76 It’s really cool to see small town teams go up against the big giants I think Bournemouth’s stadium holds like 10k people and they are hosting some of the biggest clubs in the world. Where it works though over there is the transfer fee model.
@ItsThumper76 Tons of similarities though competition wise with really six teams having a shot to win the title every year. Promotion relegation keeps the fanbases really engaged because you always have hope. See Leicester City in 2015 won the premier league and now is in the 3rd tier haha
@ItsThumper76 Been to a lot of English football games, the vibe is similar to the top of the FCS. I’d say where they win this argument is when comparing to 3/4 of the FCS.
@pettersen4co So you care about gas prices now? God politicians are such spineless cowards. Gas prices are bad now and they were bad in 2022. Do we have any politicians that don’t just say the company line on anything anymore?
@ASchmidtacular This is tough for me to see but is not surprising. Trump is a sales guy that’s all he is there aren’t real solutions in his pitch. Dems really screwed the pooch this last election with the Biden situation and late pivot. Just my 2 cents
@thomaslhorrocks Birth rates are declining in most developed countries. If it were purely cost driven this wouldn’t be an issue in countries with the strong safety net programs.
