Exclusive for @FIBA alongside @cesaremilanti: The @MiamiHEAT head coach Erik Spoelstra encourages NBA players to embrace the opportunity to represent their countries on the international stage, likening the intensity to an NBA playoff game https://t.co/xA0Dqp1GxP

@dan_routledge @dan_routledge what would be the best prompt to find best Team Records in a championship season? Tried a couple but no luck generating the stats 👍🏼👍🏼

[Joe Honour @Colour_CommsUK]

IMO if there was going to be a trophy this year it would be a double announcement. As it stands Lions szn tk benefits suggest a 36 game reg season - with the Cup competition ✅

No trophy competition for @SprLeagueBballW - safe to assume this is also true for @SprLeagueBballM? First showpiece final location TBC - likely means no Birmingham in 26/27

Of all the things that British basketball needs, a new brand was surely very far down the list. Especially not one that looks like it's actually designed for British Fencing or the national eyebrow association.

via @LondonLions "London Lions can confirm that guards Kameron McGusty and Amin Adamu will depart the club ahead of the 2026-27 season. Both were part of the historic quadruple-winning squad, and the Lions thank them for their contributions."

[London Lions Basketball @LondonLions]

Thank you, Kam. ❤️🦁

Kameron McGusty played a huge part in one of the most successful seasons in London Lions history.

The American guard helped the club complete a historic domestic clean sweep, lifting the SLB Championship, SLB Playoff Title, SLB Cup and SLB Trophy, while earning MVP honours in the SLB Cup Final.

Across 27 SLB games, McGusty averaged 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. He elevated his game even further on the European stage, averaging 15.0 points, 3.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds in EuroCup competition while shooting better than 55% from the field against some of Europe's strongest opposition.

Thank you for your commitment, your professionalism and the unforgettable moments in a Lions jersey.

We wish you every success in the next chapter of your career.

@philgrovesuk or just the clubs that are moving into those markets. So at the risk of sounding to much like someone on question time 😅 can the league stimulate good growth for all teams so where franchises make fast & sizable investment we don’t get to a point a team outgrows its league.

[Joe Honour @Colour_CommsUK]

Phenomenal article! And a great articulation of the dilemma British basketball fans are seeing in real time ‘what happens when one team wants to invest big and the league it’s in doesn’t’
