@sndhdhehdjdi @Itay20052 My theory is that Flugel, being a Subaru who predates his relationship with Tella, basically had Loveless RBD and got completely brain cooked. He’s set everything up to create the best outcome but Subaru, now with a different power, is on his own path

@Itay20052 My conspiracy is that this is the true purpose of Arc 3. By beating out Subaru’s protagonist complex via an arc of gaslighting and trauma, Tappei could ensure that Subaru never actually investigated the fact that he is very clearly the protagonist and therefore keep his secrets

@Itay20052 @RupertVonRipp IMO a big part of it is Emilia. Tappei’s well aware that her only real ability to contribute is her raw power and RZ is for her sake. He loves her in this half-wit state, so she stays like that. But as a result, Subaru can’t be strong or she’s useless

@Itay20052 @RupertVonRipp I think that’s my main problem with the writing around Subaru’s strength. As it’s set up, he should be insanely powerful, and capable of growing to an incredible level. But Tappei just puts his thumb on the scale and pretends it’s that Subaru is weak and not that he’s nerfed

@Itay20052 @RupertVonRipp Subaru’s Cor Leonis should, imo, allow him to tap Emilia and Satella’s ridiculous mana pools. He should no longer have mana issues but Tappei’s a coward
