@YeahYeahOkBro The pick would most likely have been another Mathurin type piece. Don’t really see anyone coming in a being a huge contributor day one.
Sure, upside would have been great to add on a rookie deal, but no telling how impactful.
That said, yes, we all wanted one of the picks
@PaincersFan I think Rui would be the clear backup 3/4 and the 6/7th man on the roster.
Would love to see him.
If we move on from Walker, he’d be a really nice piece.
@DarkHaliburton Maybe the worst fit out there for what we want to do.
Obviously we would change our play to fit the talent, which he is an amazing talent, but significant decline has to be expected.
Hard Pass for me
@HoopsHubNBA Where does Walker currently fit in the rotation?
Backup at the 3? 3rd at the 4?
Shep is the clear backup at the 2. Serviceable, but limited. A great 9/10 piece.
The only goal this offseason is to consolidate pieces which means getting rid of multiple pieces of value…?
@DarkHaliburton It all depends on the piece acquiring.
TJ and Obi both have roles here. Are we getting a piece that moves one of them down the rotation? If so, they are the likely filler.
@ColtsFilmRoom LBer is the one position he has hit on in the draft time and time again. I'm comfortable with a vet green dot surrounded by a couple of draft picks heading into the season.
DE will need to be via trade
@ForTheCOLTure_J Won’t argue that, those options are a bit more limited and generally in higher demand…anyone with significant upside is hard to get at this point.
