Late night thoughts. Sucks that probably the most fun 6 consecutive years of Blue Jays baseball is coming to a close. 4 playoff appearances, 1 division, 1 pennant. Some of the best memories of my adult life so far. Will be weird seeing our top FA guys in different uniforms.
Entering a new era of Blue Jays baseball. Started with the departures of Bo Bichette and Chris Bassitt. Now Kevin Gausman — and others very soon.
Team moves forward into 2028 with a solid core of Dylan Cease, Trey Yesavage, Louis Varland, Okamoto, Valenzuela, Clement, & Vladdy.
From the minute you became a Blue Jay, you embraced this city and this country as if it was your own.
Thank you, Gausy, for all that you’ve meant to this team, to this community, to our clubhouse, and to this fanbase 💙
Grayson Waller goes off on Austin Theory:
"I spent a year carrying around 240 pounds of idiot, making him relevant again, so much so that people actually chanted his name. Never before, never since. But I don’t care how many bells and whistles they give him, at the end of the day that Marty Jannetty is still allergic to the microphone.”
If that was it, thank you Kevin Gausman for everything you did for this city and country 🇨🇦
You chose less money to come to Toronto.
Forever a Blue Jay 💙🤍
The most technically possible but unachievable things in sports:
1. Pitch a perfect game and still lose
2. A condor in a golf tournament
3. 100 points in an NBA game
4. 20-0 NFL season
5a. USA dominating in Soccer
5b. USA dominating in Tennis
“It feels like home. You know the feeling we got when we walked in Miami? That's what it feels like."- Jakobe Thomas to his mother after his pre-draft visit with the Vikings.
