Imagine begin a fan or a reporter who “boycotts” off of an accepted invitation to the White House. White House visits were never about meeting the president or anyones political stance.

It’s people like this who are only trying to separate, diversify, and fuel rage over the accepted invitation. They are the PROBLEM.

You don’t have to love or hate Trump to show respect and humility. They play AMERICAN football for millions of dollars a year. Forgive or don’t forgive for them to appreciate a Country and a White House that gives them those opportunities.

No player was forced to go, like a lot of players didn’t do. You also don’t have to be CHILDISH and make it a political feud, trying to separate people off of going or not.

@RichEisenShow I love everything about you, but there have now been 4 draft picks taken since the Sanders pick. @nflnetwork has yet to acknowledge any one of their names or anything about any of those players. WHY, because the headlines/network all want you to talk about Sanders this/that.

Controlling the broadcast and giving….well now it’s 6 players drafted given ZERO spotlight since finishing this tweet, because they only care about Sanders. Pretty tough to control I’d say when someone in your ear is making the MEDIA headlines they want you to do….

The farther this draft goes, the more ironic Sanders going to a franchise where QB’s go to die is just full circle. Good news for Cleveland fans, you’ll have lots of media attention regardless of your record.

Any team with a healthy starting QB situation probably just dodged the biggest bullet of the entire draft and I think they all know this. I personally was going to be more than happy to draft Sanders in the 5th round to BACKUP Hurts. Starting to feel thankful that it didn’t happen, not because of the player, but because of the media/headlines that come with it.

You think the @Eagles should draft him? I’ve been battling this idea with myself. Talent alone, absolutely no question it is a steal and worthy BACKUP QB draft pick, but at what cost to the lockeroom?

Rich Eisen said that would be the coach and front office to control that narrative, but @joelklatt was right about the QB position being COMPLETELY different for the most influential/popular college QB in some time.

The media headlines would try and devour every ounce of click bait it could, by raising the question any chance they could! We all know what that question is. Absolutely no way for the coaches/front office to control that noise with social media the way it is these days.

Picture this: Jalen has a few off games or a bad stretch. Philly ignorant fans would be calling for Sanders. Philly/Sports media members start asking Deion what he thinks. When do you not ever get Deion’s opinion or not wanna ask the question for a headline. I only see that opportunity being beneficial for his own brand and son. Look at how the media is talking about Sanders right now. It only gets crazier when he gets to a team and the headlines will continue on every sports show out there.

It’s just a wild and insane scenario for any QB needy team at this point. How did we get here is what we all wanna know? Raiders, Steelers, Saints, Jets, Seattle, with all very questionable QB longevity solutions on the current roster.

I’m seeing a lot of Manning/Sanders comparisons. Let’s take one example from 21 years ago and plug it into modern day social media/NFL and make it about race.

Then, let’s take one of the most famous social media/college football athletes. Use his family name (Sanders) to try and click bait people into thinking this is all about race. Such BULL💩! People act like Sanders is the only player to slip multiple rounds in a draft because he apparently had terrible formal interviews that we yet know NOTHING about. Do yourself a favor X fam, go research the last 21 years and you’ll find 1000’s of cases like this.

Doesn’t matter if you’re Black, White, Hispanic, Australian, or any other race/color with apparent 🚩that cause NFL teams to drop a draft grade.

Sanders will be drafted and he will get the opportunity to prove everyone wrong. He ain’t the first and won’t be the last NFL “comeback story”. Nor will it be the last time dumbass tweets/articles try to spread false BS narratives.

This is insane. All these race takes are insane. I love Deion. And I’ve been saying for 2 years Shedeur would be my 1st Qb off the board. BUT NFL gms, coaches, owners will do ANYTHING to win games, save jobs. The NFL is cut throat. Owners would stomp on each other’s throats to win. There is no collusion. The 1st pick was a black Qb. If teams thought Shedeur and everything he brings could help them win games more than guys available on the board they’d draft him.. Thats it. End of story. Every other narrative is fantasy.
