BREAKING: Republicans in Montana are BLOCKING a trans legislator from speaking – and misgendering her to add insult to injury!

First, Republicans in the Montana legislature tried to push through an anti-trans bill.

But when a trans legislator spoke out – Rep Zooey Zephyr – she was not only interrupted, but the Montana Freedom Caucus, a bloc of right-wing Republicans said her comments amounted to “hateful rhetoric” and demanded her censure in an official letter that clearly misgenders her.

Fascism wasn't enough. They had to add cruelty.

But WORSE, Zephyr just reported the GOP is not even letting her speak on ANY BILL now.

Sound familiar? Remember what happened to the two Democratic legislators expelled in Tennessee this month?

Look: I 'm against this bill for so many reasons. But no matter what you think of it, anyone with integrity can tell you it is WRONG to pass a bill against an entire group of people without even letting their representative speak on it.

And it's ever worse to use their resistance as an excuse to silence them on absolutely everything.

It's simply anti-democratic.

GOP extremism is a disease is spreading through state houses all over America. We can't let this go quietly, or we'll lose everything. Spread the word and stand up to it EVERYWHERE.
