History 🚨- Ursula Haverbeck — known in Germany as the Nazi Grandma - became one of the most prominent Holocaust deniers in modern European history. A 96 year old former accountant who worked at the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War Two, she spent decades publicly claiming that the systematic murder of six million Jewish people was a fabrication.
She was convicted multiple times by German courts for incitement and Holocaust denial and served prison time well into her nineties. Germany has some of the strictest Holocaust denial laws in the world. Haverbeck tested every single one of them.
