A really interesting arm that attended the Smoky Mountain Scout Day on 8/23 was 2027 RHP/Util @ColtonMorg80915 of @AHS_Cats. His FB was 76-78 MPH but featured average spins of 2350 with a max of 2566!

Morgan was the Smoky Mountain Conference Pitcher of the Year his Sophomore Season while playing with Murphy at the time. Gets a lot out of his wiry 5'10" 130 frame. If can keep getting more physical, there's a lot of ceiling to fill. The FB spins suggest more Velo is following. Delivers from a 12:44 Tilt generating avg IVB/HB of 12.0/1.6. 8:00 Tilt. Throws a SL with similar spins but from a 9:00 Tilt generating

CB was 68-69 with spins up to 2669; avg IVB/HB was -5.6/-12.0 generating avg IVB/HB 3.3/-12.1. not throwing a CH yet, but I feel the arm slot would allow for mixing one in. Also needs to work on extension and getting downhill more. However, there are tools to work with here.

Swung it well with EVs up to 82. Can move around the field a bit but needs to work on shaving a few tenths off the 60yd. However, with the pitching metrics, I think his path to Collegiate Ball will be on the bump.
