Agree, and I’m not suggesting every benefit needs to be precisely quantified. Better diligence, decision-making, etc. clearly have value, even if difficult to put a number on. (Though I’d argue these should eventually show up in better win rates, higher returns, fewer costly mistakes, or other measurable outcomes.)
I think the distinction is between productivity gains and actually capturing that value economically
Your FP&A example makes sense if that’s a hire you otherwise would have needed as the business grew. But I think a lot of companies are claiming significant cost savings from AI without actually reducing headcount (understandably), avoiding future hires, or translating that additional capacity into growth
And there’s also the question of whether the additional output is actually necessary. Just because we can produce 3x as many reports doesn’t mean we should
I think that’s the disconnect I’m seeing in a lot of these discussions. People are clearly getting more done, but it’s less clear how much of that is translating into economic value
@OneManLBO CrowdHealth is way overlooked. Damn near impossible convince people to try them though even after when they know insurance is ripping them off
@OneManLBO “Claude I have 3 hours to use all my compute, look across my repos and identify the highest value places to use it leveraging at minimum 6 subagents in parallel”
@PEoperator 100% agree. It’s insane the quality of people I’ve met in hotel gyms at 4-5am. Never more than 3-4 people but you can tell they’re out working everyone else
@bridgemindai 50% to 0% in an hour and then after reset went 100% to 38% in an hour using Astra light. Definitiely a problem. Feedback ID: 01a085a4-f302-7c91-b939-d71a48c3d3d6 @thsottiaux
@PEoperator Honestly leverage the X algorithm. Start bookmarking and liking cool business things people use it for and within a couple days you’ll have so many relevant use cases bookmarked that you have to start prioritizing
Ask me how I know… 😂
Using Clawdbot/OpenClaw with opus is like managing an overeager analyst who doesn't understand that "less is more." Buddy, you don't need to go the extra mile; just follow the brief
