A different approach to Colts coverage. | Est. 3/22/20 | Owned by: @peteremiller | DM for Business Inquiries

A lot can happen in 13 weeks.

Embarrassing losses, tight wins, QB fiascos and everything in between, the #Colts have finally reached the bye week.

Here are my five biggest takeaways from the first 13 games of the season for @TheHoosierNet 👇

The #Colts uncharacteristically committed 10 penalties in Sunday’s loss to the #Lions.

“Whenever you out there playing a good team like that, you can’t beat yourself and try to beat the other team at the same time.”

Wednesday's practice report for #BUFvsIND:

[Peter Miller @peteremiller]

Despite a multitude of chances, the #Colts offense was unable to cash in as they lose ground to the #Texans in the AFC South. Recap from today for @TheHoosierNet 👇

Wins in the NFL aren’t easy to come by, something the #Colts learned on Sunday.

“Hopefully we can keep the train rolling.”

#NFL Sundays are back!

The #Colts open up their 2024 season by hosting the #Texans, the same opponent who eliminated them from playoff contention in 2023.

With Anthony Richardson back as the starting QB, can Indy win their first Week 1 game since 2013?

[Aaron Wilson @AaronWilson_NFL]

#Colts worked out Eno Benjamin, Taco Charlton, Avery Davis, Porter Gustin, Justin Hollins, Kaylon Horton, Joshua Kelley, Jaylon Moore, Derek Rivers, Larry Rountree, SaRodorick Thompson, Greg Ward Jr. @UHCougarFB

Halftime from Lucas Oil Stadium.

Deforest Buckner will also not dress.

Both players had the day off from practice on Friday.

[Peter Miller @peteremiller]

#Colts CB JuJu Brents will not play today and will rest instead, the team has shared.

He’s dealing with a shoulder issue but would be playing if it were a regular season game.

COLTS GAMEDAY ‼️

The #Colts host the Denver #Broncos this afternoon to kick off their preseason.

Shane Steichen has shared that “most” starters will play “a series or two” under the open roof in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Heard this dude is pretty cool, you should definitely follow him for Colts coverage this season. (This definitely isn’t me 😉)

[Peter Miller @peteremiller]

All #Colts players will report to Grand Park Sports Campus July 24 for the start of training camp.

Looks like Deforest Buckner’s signature on the (attempted) Vikings’ logo, really curious to see what rhetorical Colts’ social team cooked up here.

Pay attention, there will be a quiz later. ✏️

[Joel A. Erickson @JoelAErickson]

Braden Smith says he had successful surgery on his left knee this offseason, feels like he's in a pretty good spot. Strength is coming back.

[Peter Miller @peteremiller]

Paye will make $13.4 million guaranteed under the option. The 25-year-old is coming off a breakout season in 2023, recording 8.5 sacks.

[Colts Capitol @ColtsCapitol]

Just about 48 hours for the Colts to make a decision on Kwity Paye.

[Albert Breer @AlbertBreer]

Fifth-year options filed today: Browns CB Greg Newsome, Ravens OLB Odafe Oweh, Jets OL Ali Vera-Tucker. Teams have until Thursday at 4 p.m. to file them. Very few (if any?) unresolved at this point.
