@lawrencekitema Absolutely spot on. Life’s fragility is a powerful reminder to embrace the present with gratitude and love those around us fully, before “normal” becomes a memory.
Thank you for this wisdom. 🙏
This story perfectly shows why transparency is everything in marriage.
My reply under the main post: The father’s “meddling” was protection.
He exposed a secret land deal that could have planted distrust.
The husband’s calm reply, that he always registers properties jointly in both names, revealed real character and responsibility.
Any man who buys properties in his name and his wife’s name is seen as truly secure and responsible. It builds a shared legacy instead of hiding assets.
The daughter’s gratitude 12 years later says it all: Sometimes parental wisdom saves you from future regret.
Trust and joint ownership aren’t old-fashioned, they’re wise😊.
What’s one marriage lesson your parents taught you?

@kenkenlewu The problem some friends will cause eehhhn.
You have no business with secrecy if you married a responsible man.
Thank God for the wisdom of popsy👍
Heartbreaking💔
An innocent okada rider, father of five, just grinding honestly, lost his life over someone else’s greed and desperation😒.
No one deserves that.
I don't think this was “ritual power.” It’s murder for profit (organs/ransom) wrapped in spiritual language to exploit superstition.
This Yahoo thing often drags young people into darker circles where betrayal and violence become the shortcut🤷.
Greed met greed, two lives destroyed.
RIP to the victims😔.
22-year-old Yahoo boy allegedly used for ritual by his 20-year-old native doctor in Delta State💔💔
A 22-year-old man identified as Liberty Friday was allegedly murdered and used for ritual purposes by his 20-year-old native doctor in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to reports, the native doctor, popularly known as "Son of Ikuku," called Liberty on the fateful day while he was with his girlfriend. He reportedly told him that he had prepared a powerful charm that would bring him massive success in his internet fraud activities and invited him over to complete the ritual process.
Liberty then hired a commercial motorcyclist (okada rider) and headed to the native doctor's residence. Neither of them returned.
After several days without hearing from him, Liberty's girlfriend informed his family. The family contacted the native doctor, who denied seeing Liberty and allegedly demanded ₦100,000 to "consult the gods" regarding his whereabouts. He was not heard from again.
Shortly after, the family received a call from unknown individuals claiming they had abducted Liberty and demanding ransom. Following negotiations, the amount was reduced to ₦500,000. An account number was sent for payment, but the family insisted on speaking with Liberty first. The callers immediately ended the call.
Following a police investigation, it was discovered that Liberty and the motorcyclist had allegedly been killed by the 20-year-old native doctor. Their bodies, with several organs missing, were reportedly found dumped inside a septic tank.
Further investigations revealed that the native doctor, with the alleged assistance of his stepbrother and mother, murdered both victims for ritual purposes. The motorcyclist was a father of five, and his wife has reportedly been inconsolable since the incident.
The native doctor and his alleged accomplices are currently in police custody while investigations continue.
Do you think human ritual is real, or is this simply a case of organ harvesting disguised as ritual practices?
Happy Wednesday😊
A lesson from Proverbs 2: Wisdom doesn't come by accident, you have to seek it.
The right wisdom can save you from wrong decisions, bad company, and unnecessary regrets.
As you go through today, don't just chase opportunities; ask for wisdom to recognize the right ones.
May your choices today lead you closer to purpose, peace, and progress.
