[Notice] My official stance on Comnyang and the recent meme coin situation.

Through this recent incident, I’ve learned a bit about how the crypto ecosystem works.

To verify if the creator fees were actually being directed to me, I claimed the fees twice.

It’s honestly surprising to see that around $300 has accumulated in my https://t.co/ghCqqgazo7 account.

I actually looked into ways to return this amount to the platform or the buyers, but due to the nature of the blockchain system, there is no technical way to reverse the claim.
Since these fees were generated by using Comnyang's name without permission, I have decided to allocate this $300 entirely toward the development costs of the actual Comnyang project.

Moving forward, I will not be claiming any additional fees from this platform, regardless of how much accumulates. I want to remain completely disconnected from these meme coins.

Initially, I looked into this because I heard that people who love Comnyang wanted to donate, but once I realized it was a meme coin, I misunderstood it as a phishing scam.

Wanting to prevent anything bad from happening under Comnyang's name, I posted a warning telling people to be careful.

I suppose to seasoned crypto traders, my reaction might have seemed a bit naive.

While I don’t know much about crypto, I do know it’s highly volatile. Because I still do not want anyone to suffer financial harm under Comnyang's name, I have absolutely no intention of officially endorsing any meme coins at this time.

If and when I become more knowledgeable about crypto in the future, I would rather launch a coin myself in a much healthier and more transparent way.

I've spent the entire day processing all this new information and trying to grasp the situation, and honestly, it’s a bit disappointing that I’ve already written three posts about crypto instead of focusing on our actual product.

Comnyang still has so much room for improvement, so rather than spending any more energy on crypto, I will be fully focusing on upgrading our product from now on.

Still, I am incredibly grateful for all the love and attention you have shown to Comnyang.

I will do my absolute best to build an even better Comnyang. Thank you!

I didn't know they posted this reel but it reached 2.2M views and 81.6K likes and it made a huge boost for Comnyang's sales..!!

I was expecting around 10~20($39~79) sales a day based on the previous data after launching.

Update regarding the Comnyang meme coin situation!

After looking into it further, I realized I misunderstood how these platforms work. Sorry for the confusion.

I've learned that anyone can create tokens, and there are already multiple tokens using the Comnyang name.

To be clear, I have not created or officially launched any token for the Comnyang project.

I've been learning more about this space recently, and it's definitely an interesting market to explore.

That said, crypto and meme coins can be highly volatile, so please be cautious and do your own research before making any investment decisions.

Comnyang remains a desktop pet application, not a crypto project.
