@doncandon@imjasondiamond For me, Turnstiles and Nylon Curtain are great albums, I like everything in between, but he lost me after that.
Millions disagree with me.
So I very recently got into anime after seeing an old Mark Kermode review of Your Name.
Saw that film, loved it.
Scanning various reviews on YT, went and watched A Place Further Than The Universe and Yuru Camp.
I’m off to a good start I think.
@annaspargoryan while not quite the same intent as sarcastic, astute or acute could work, and if I ignore the “a” criterion I’ve always loved “mordant” as a word, which to me is a bit like “arch”, implies a wry smile when speaking, and not necessarily mean spirited
@timshiel@DoubleJRadio@lizzo How about 70’s Dutch band Focus? The track “Love Remembered” was one of those tunes a lot of people have heard from films or TV but have no idea where it came from. And “Janis” goes the extra mile with... multitracked flutes
@ABCClassic I’m going with the Resurrection Symphony.
Firstly because it’ll be payback for all those times my friends made me wait for them.
Secondly because you never know your luck.
wiring modules together in Reaktor isn’t that hard but now 6.3 is out I’ve discovered how lazy I really am. wiring on the panels just makes things ridiculously easy
blocks has gone from being good fun to really great fun
