In our #lab area, we have developed the first #towpreg winding #machine designed primarily for #typeIV #hydrogen #tanks #manufacturing. The line is equipped with a single #mandrel and reproduces the final configuration we can offer to the #customer.

For #Sefiro project, we realized #typeIV CFRP #pressurevessel with #towpreg, but also equipped with sensors, using a technology called #AerosolJetPrinting.
We printed strain gauges on this tank to measure deformations, as the #pressure increased. #impregnation #resin #innovation

For #Fibercare project end, we created two Formula SAE steering wheels using two types of #recycled #carbonfiber #prepregs.
This component was used because short-fiber prepregs attenuate #vibrations for driver comfort.
Lower #quality #materials choice was technically justified.
