Training is underway in Amudat District, where selected Community-Based Action Teams are building skills in the Puppet Theatre Model.Through creative storytelling and community engagement, participants are being equipped to raise awareness, challenge harmful social norms.
The RISE-K Project in Amudat,Moroto,Nakapiripirit uses the Model Couple Approach and GALS to promote joint planning and peaceful coexistence.Many households report improved communication,shared decision making after adopting the Vision Road Journey as a household planning tool.

The AGM was kick started with a mental health session facilitated by Sunflower Meadow Care, which is highlighting various mental health issues faced by women and discussions on triggers, addictions, mental health conditions and management.
NAWOU recently conducted a Training of Trainers on the first phase of GALS for selected model families already implementing GALS at household and community levels.The ToTs will now cascade knowledge and champion GALS principles, promoting peaceful coexistence and gender equity.
