Our church announced every month that we were feeding 60 struggling families.

The pastor always mentioned it during Sunday service.

"Last month, we fed 60 families. This month, we're doing it again. God bless everyone who contributed."

Everyone clapped.

But something strange was happening.

A woman who attended our church every Sunday had been asking for food assistance for three months.

She had three children and had recently lost her job.

She never received anything.

Then I discovered that two other families in the same situation hadn't received anything either.

I was confused.

If we were feeding 60 families every month, where were the food packages going?

I volunteered to help the church's charity department.

Nobody knew I was investigating.

On the first Saturday, I arrived early to help pack the food.

There were 60 bags.

Rice, beans, cooking oil, canned food, and other essentials.

I counted them twice.

Exactly 60.

But when the distribution started, something didn't feel right.

Please, Make THANKING GOD (and People) a lifelong habit and practice. I mean intentional, detailed, heartfelt and consistent Thanksgiving, at all times.
In a short while you would begin to experience an unusual supply of Grace in your life.
There is a connection between the word CHARIS (Grace) and THANKSGIVING in the New Testament. Do a short study on this and you will see for yourself.
There’s also a connection between Thanksgiving and humility. Because gratitude takes the attention off you and fixes on another. It admits and acknowledges good and favour done by others. That in itself is an expression of humility. And James says God gives more grace to the humble.

If you engage this consistently, over time you would begin to notice remarkable changes and growth in your life and walk with God, something no one can away from you. This has been one of my major life’s hack. Try this and thank me later 🙂.

Yesterday I clocked 40…

And I was compelled to the Spirit of God to write down 40 things God has done in my life in the past 40 years.
By the time I got to 39, my hands were trembling and my eyes swelling with tears, because I had written so much & those were just the ones I remembered at the time & I had not even gotten to what He has done in the past 2 years.

I have been so ungrateful to God & I was not aware.
