Sharing my comic collection from the ‘70s, ‘80s & beyond. Marvel, DC, IPC, DC Thomson + strange & rare titles. Mostly British but some American. Fun & nostalgia
@cartoonistdiary It’s probably hard to find - Ebay or similar is probably your best bet. Chipper was still featured in the Birmingham Mail the last time I bought it & there was also a club to join but not sure if it’s part of the newspaper nowadays.
Final instalment of the Blade Runner strip published in Marvel UK’s Return of the Jedi comic No.31 (Jan 1984). Featuring Roy Batty’s iconic ”tears in rain” monologue. #ripRutgerHauer
Marvel UK’s Return of the Jedi, No. 28, 28th December, 1983. Featuring a fantastic Blade Runner strip. The cover reminds me of that old joke about Vader, Luke & Christmas. The punchline is: “...because I have felt your presents (Presence)!” #Christmascomics#crackerjokes
The Marvel Bumper Comic, No.7, 24th December, 1988. The mystery of the mysterious Christmas present on the front cover is revealed in The Real Ghostbusters centrefold poster. #Slimer#Christmascomics

Who you gonna call? Marvel’s The Real Ghostbusters! The first issue (26th March 1988) came with a free badge. Nice to see Winston in the spotlight with Winston’s Diary - A Day in the Life Of Winston Zeddmore. Enjoy the final moments of Halloween 2018! 🎃 👻
Scream! No.2, 31st March 1984. Not for the nervous! A free spooky spider was given away with the comic & the “Spiders Can’t Scream!” cover makes me think of the last episode of Doctor Who.🕷 #halloween 🎃
