We had the absolute best time on our first residential trip! We learnt how to put up tents, skim stones, toast marshmallows and so much more. The best memories have been made in the last 24 hours, we love doing life with our young people! Shout out to them for being such legends!

Guys, one of my year 8’s has been struggling with this maths topic from the lesson we started it. We haven’t given up and tried and tried again and today, he got it!!! He was buzzing, I was buzzing, everyone was buzzing. Could’ve cried 😂🤩🤩 Day blooming made I tell you!

Last night my team won a comp against 22 other Worlds teams - the high was unreal and it was just what I needed. Sat here with a ☕️ this morning reflecting on what I think was the hardest week of my career last week, but no matter how hard it is I love it and I’m ready for Monday

Anyone that teaches Emotional Literacy to young people, especially those with SEMH, get this game!! The best resilience building game I’ve found in a long time AND had some of our most ‘lively’ sat down and concentrated for an amazing length of time! It’s called Genius Square.

WHAT A DAY! The whole Grove went out on a treasure hunt around the city (some were slightly more camera shy than others, but we were all there!)

We’re working so hard on transition at the minute, check out this feedback from a mainschool teacher about one of our Year 8’s - “He’s a legend! He was really focused and hardworking, he re-attempted a question by himself after deciding he can do better, I am loving teaching him”
