National AccessAbility Week is a period to examine and discuss the barriers that may be present in society for those with disabilities and discuss how we can reduce or remove those barriers.

Red Dress Day, May 5, is a day to bring attention to the more than 1,000 Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Canada. This is both a day for mourning and for speaking out to prevent future violence.
