The Boulder County Commissioners have announced that the revenue from the voter-approved Affordable and Attainable Housing Tax will fund development of new affordable homes, housing supportive services, and grant funding for nonprofits and small towns and cities. The development funds will be divided proportionately by population across the county with 30% going to Longmont, 32% to Boulder, & 38% for the rest of Boulder County. 🏘️❤️ https://t.co/4UVzHBYmJx #bouldercounty #boulder #longmont
Billionaires and out-of-state interests have raised over $10 million for Prop 131.
Why should Colorado be the guinea pig for this billionaire-backed experiment?
This exciting federal grant, combined with matching state funds, is a $94 million downpayment to improve freight rail operations today and pave the way for passenger rail expansion tomorrow.

Commissioner Claire Levy & Commissioner Ashley Stolzmann joined Congressman Joe Neguse, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen, and others for a conversation in Boulder this morning about childcare affordability. Commissioners Levy and Stolzmann had the opportunity to share details of the pressure that counties are under with changes in federal regulation that have increased the cost to deliver the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). Boulder County supports the changes - such as limiting family co-payments to 7 percent of a family’s income, a critical strategy to reduce poverty - but urges the federal government to increase available funding. The Boulder County Commissioners extend their thanks to @RepJoeNeguse for making this important discussion possible here in Boulder County.
SW Coloradans shouldn't have to fear wildfires overtaking their communities.
That's why I'm glad to see another $5M investment from @forestservice to reduce wildfire risk and restore the health of 3,000 acres of the San Juan National Forest.
It was absolute thrill to have three US Senators come together today to support the @coloradodems — thanks to @MichaelBennet, @Hickenlooper and the fantastic @amyklobuchar for kicking off canvassers across the state and firing up our team! What a Sunday!
Spending time this morning with Longmont residents was a joyful capstone to a tough week. Special thanks to Lyons Mayor @MayorRogin for joining Boulder County. Hollie REALLY needed a parade.
Thank you for the warm welcome, Longmont! Commissioner Marta Loachamin, Commissioner Ashley Stolzmann, and Commissioner Claire Levy joined Sheriff Curtis Johnson and county staff for the Boulder County Fair Parade this morning. After a tough week, it was great to see our community come together for such a joyous celebration. ❤️☀️ You can find out more about the fair at https://t.co/va5xShzvw0

@TheRickWilson He’s saying that he will implement Project 2025 so that it really won’t matter in the future who is in office- his agenda will have been so thoroughly institutionalized that whether it’s a D or an R, the result won’t change. The EPA, FTC, CSFB, NLRB, etc will be gone.
@maggieNYT Justice Thomas’s concurrences and dissents have been a roadmap for lawyers seeking new avenues to remake the law. His concurrence in Trump v United States questioned the legality of Jack Smith’s appointment as Special Counsel. Voila, Judge Cannon on cue applied his rationale.
