@JournalismPod Happy to keep the nerdiness alive! We punctuation protectors must keep at our cause. An extra layer is that it’s also a play on a @radiohead song title. 😉
SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Four Varsity Yearbook schools placed in the NSPA Best of Show category for yearbooks with 108-223 pages at the Spring National HS Journalism Convention in Kansas City. Congratulations!

At #NHSJC tonight, our media program was a recipient of the First Amendment Press Freedom Award. These kids “don’t simply accept the narrative” as our keynote speaker spoke so brilliantly. They make sure stories told authentically and all our voices are heard clearly.
Yes, I’m here in San Francisco for the JEA/NSPA Spring #NHSJC, but this view from my view is another great reason to visit. Can’t wait to see my people throughout the next few days! @nationalJEA@NSPA
So proud of my #JEA mentees! Two of them are presenting media production and media literacy skills to teachers attending our district tech conference. Their 1st yr in the Mentor prog and they’re rocking it! #MentorshipMatters@nationalJEA

@adrianachavira What a sad and frustrating turn of events in response to some political flexing. Piece-mealing the course does not teach an objective history.
@MrClikestoteach Two pieces of advice: 1) Always remember you’re teaching someone’s baby (passing this one along from my mentor who told me 17 years ago) /// 2) In all that you do, be the human you needed in your life when you were that age. Welcome!
