If the @Commanders eventually make some uniform tweaks, this is a good place to start. Add the three center stripes back and go with a gloss finish. Cut the center stripes over the helmet gap. Adding some white trim around the “W” would also help. Easy fixes. H/T @DaneStorrusten

@Gcarmi21 I’m frustrated by this. The front office’s pre-draft evaluation told them that Allen was worth selecting in the 6th round. Four games (12 carries later), he’s outright cut. I understand that late round picks oftentimes don’t work out. However, this feels rash and ill-advised.

@avbanig @discoque92 Okay, but why make the decision before you have to? In other words, we didn’t need the salary cap relief. Give yourself a fallback option until you see how FA plays out. If you sign someone better, then make the move at that time. It’s simply about maintaining your options.

@avbanig @discoque92 He tore his ACL after signing with LA. That doesn’t mean it would have happened here. By releasing him before FA, they unnecessarily backed themselves into a corner. I have no problem with securing an upgrade but do it in the proper order. It became “FA or bust” and here we are.

And that logo is a familiar one: the team’s new alternate W logo with a spear running through it, unveiled in April with their new black “Hail Raiser” uniform

I’m also told there are no plans for further changes to Washington’s branding in 2027 *as of now*

@fashion_nfl Sorry, but only moving up the Commanders three spots from last year doesn’t make any sense. They fixed almost every issue and your dislike of the “W” helmet logo shouldn’t be enough to keep them ranked that low. It’s obviously your list but I respectfully disagree on this one.

@dc_dummies @Jeronimobrat Agreed. Two plays in the first half completely changed that game. The blocked punt TD and Rocket Screen. Without them, it’s 7-3 at halftime and very much a game. We just dug too deep a hole with those mistakes and things fell apart in the second half.
