First read % is a flawed critique for a couple reasons…
The QB can read a defense pre snap and have an idea where the ball should be going already. That smart QB decision then gets dissed as a “first read” because he didn’t move his head. A viewer never truly knows the reads.
Seeing a high first read % is fine as long as that decision is working. To me that shows confidence in a solid system. We know Jayden can work through reads when necessary. We see it all the time.
The Chris Paul sabotage saga:
- Steps on Jayden causing him to trip and dislocate his elbow
- Steps on Jayden again vs the Giants messing up the last play in OT
- Gets a ridiculous facemask call negating the most important TD of the season
Get him away from my QB.
Anybody mad at the intentional grounding is an idiot, the play call sent all teh WR’s to the endzone. It was either a grounding or a sack. I can’t believe that was called in that moment.
I just want to say, Brock Purdy is great at football. I hope he gets the respect he deserves one day. Always gonna be tough with that Mr.Irrelevant tag.
Jayden hasn’t been perfect at all, but when you’re constantly playing from behind the sticks how are you supposed to succeed as a QB? He makes a play, and then all the good he does is instantly taken away.
You can just tell when a team has a weak heart. When we used to lose back in 2024 it always felt like we had a fighting chance. This team has already given up.
And that’s the biggest reason im out on DQ. You bring this unprepared team every week, and the second they face any adversity they fail.
