Facts: Wild Somali child who is required to wear an ankle monitor at the age of 9 steals from this woman’s diaper bag. She calls the child a mean word.

Another Somali chases her down, starts recording her, and demands she say the mean word again. She gets criminally charged for saying a word to a man after he demanded she say the word. 🤯

She now has to sit through a four day criminal jury trial…..for saying a word.

This is Minnesota, the land of George Floyd.

Let’s get this out of the way… I hate the n-word. It’s a word I refuse to use. I know its history. I believe I know its origin. Out of respect for my ancestors who were called that word as a legitimate threat, I don’t use it, nor do I want to be around people who use that word casually.

With that said…

Shiloh Hendrix shouldn’t be facing any sort of legal repercussions for using that word. It’s covered under the first amendment. Her use of the word didn’t fall under any of the loopholes where the first amendment doesn’t apply. I’d be the first person to say she did nothing legally wrong that day.

Hell, I’m called that word every day by the CHUD-lickers and the “White is Right” crowd. I raise an eyebrow and move on, which is the only response anyone should give.

Either we have a first amendment, or we don’t. There is no middle ground.

I was so inspired by an anonymous Christian at Chick-fil-A today.

As I was eating lunch with my son, I overheard a man & two young women in the booth next to us.

The entire meal, the man defended Christianity to these girls (who seemed low-key antagonistic to the faith and exploring various religions).

They bought into many shallow critiques of Christianity.

They brought up “so many denominations”, Christianity’s red line on sexual issues, etc.

The man handled each objection with logic and scripture, and he pointed out the false claims of the other faiths mentioned.

He had the patience of a saint.

The girls started out defiant and somewhat angry. He never returned their frustration.

By the end of the conversation, everyone was smiling. They thanked him for his time and his explanations.

I think the man was a pastor.

Say a prayer for those two anonymous young women and for that stalwart Christian soul doing God’s work. 🙏🏻
