Every major policy intended to support people moving from homelessness to housing is due in no small part to the leadership of @CommishFish - we all owe him a debt of gratitude.
A big thank you to Chris Warner of @PBOTinfo, Jay Clark with Polity Group, Jef Green of C&E Systems, Sonia Schmanski, chief of staff for @CommishFish, and Ivo Trummer at the @PortOfPortland for sharing your valuable expertise with our Public Service Training.
Proud to begin transitioning City bureaus away from gas-powered leaf blowers, and excited to begin considering environmentally friendly changes citywide. https://t.co/CfK2YNn3Yk
@Scott_Kocher @JVP_MultCoD3 @multco Thanks for the question. There are a host of legal, financial, jurisdiction and equity issues to be worked out. Stay tuned. First, we get our house in order.
Leaf blowers harm our public health thru air & noise pollution. That's why today I testified before Portland City Council in support of @CommishFish's proposed phase-out of gas-powered leaf blowers. I'm glad to partner w/the City as we at @multco consider how we can act as well.
#BlackFriday is in full swing in Portland's neighborhood business districts! Stretch your dollars w/ special promotions in Multnomah Village, Hillsdale, Kenton and Foster Area. #HolidayShopping#PledgeLocalPDX
@JackKerfoot2020 @AmandaFritzRN Thanks Jack. I thought you were referring to Parks. As for water, I share your concern with the new estimates. But they don’t take $ out of Parks. Parks gets General Fund support. The Water Bureau is ratepayer funded.
