Couldn’t agree the Fargo “area” is the sports capital..particularly the area just a bit East, a hour or so north and then a few more hours east. That general area is for sure the baseball capital and I would say worthy of hosting saayyy the MN amateur baseball state tournament

Per @MinnBaseball State Board, The SVL was either required to accept Sauk Rapids as a member or have them placed in league playoffs while playing independent schedule. The League re-voted to accept Sauk Rapids into the SVL has a probationary team for 2022 with a 7-2 vote.

1st motion: @SRCyclones joins the arrowhead west

2nd motion: Sauk Valley changes their league name seeing as they don’t truly support Sauk and I’m assuming they hate valleys as well.

Serious thought for the upcoming summer..Section home run derby on field with pitching machine. Each team gets 2 participants. One can use wood. One can use metal. Guy who uses metal must finish a 40 before each of his rounds. May the best power hitter survive.

Let’s get teams on the lakes and having some fun. Play a game, go to Zorbaz smash a beer and repeat. Fields are all tiny. Who doesn’t love homeruns. I bet the We Fest Campground would let teams camp out. What a year that could be.

@MinnBaseball While I’m guessing the odds of it happening are thin, it would be great to see a state tournament in the northern part of the state (and Cold Spring isn’t north, I’m talking the 218 area code)
