Does anybody else find it hilarious that at the last state board meeting, MaxBat got a new composite bat approved just a couple years after sneakily trying to get all composites banned from the MBA? Just me?
Couldn’t agree the Fargo “area” is the sports capital..particularly the area just a bit East, a hour or so north and then a few more hours east. That general area is for sure the baseball capital and I would say worthy of hosting saayyy the MN amateur baseball state tournament

Per @MinnBaseball State Board, The SVL was either required to accept Sauk Rapids as a member or have them placed in league playoffs while playing independent schedule. The League re-voted to accept Sauk Rapids into the SVL has a probationary team for 2022 with a 7-2 vote.
Serious thought for the upcoming summer..Section home run derby on field with pitching machine. Each team gets 2 participants. One can use wood. One can use metal. Guy who uses metal must finish a 40 before each of his rounds. May the best power hitter survive.
@egf_mass@MatthewMarek@bptigertown Is that a new crown jewel of the North I see?
I can see it now..state will be placed in the north. The Tesla’s will come from the south in droves
Five State Tournament bids have been awarded.
Congratulations to:
2024: Jordan, Belle Plaine, Green Isle
2025: Brownton, Gaylord, Hutchinson
2026: New Prague, Shakopee, Jordan
2027: Cold Spring, Watkins, Avon
2028: Cannon Falls, Red Wing, Miesville
@MatthewMarek@bptigertown We’d have to ask the @egf_mass themselves…
Are there any plans to back the fence in center up and possibly keep the poles in play? Or maybe keep the fence where it is and just put some poles in play?
We will hang up and listen #MondayMass
4th proposition:
Detroit Lakes
Pelican Rapids
Let’s get teams on the lakes and having some fun. Play a game, go to Zorbaz smash a beer and repeat. Fields are all tiny. Who doesn’t love homeruns. I bet the We Fest Campground would let teams camp out. What a year that could be.
Third proposition:
“City’s teams worst nightmare”
East Grand Forks
Moorhead
Ada
Being this close to the ND border may make some from the cities uneasy. No worries, the world does not end and you never have to cross..unless you want to go to a strip club. Then you must cross.
@MinnBaseball While I’m guessing the odds of it happening are thin, it would be great to see a state tournament in the northern part of the state (and Cold Spring isn’t north, I’m talking the 218 area code)
@MinnBaseball Anyway we could do the thing they do in spring training where you give players microphones while they play to really get in on the action?? Give the viewers at home a peak into the player as a person
