As of right now we are over 600 public posts about CYC26! It's one thing to have a tech event where people come out, it's a completely different thing when people feel like they are part of something.

Hundreds of people walked through the #CYC26 doors, but y’all turned this conference into something truly special.

With my own eyes, I watched two complete strangers meet, only for one to immediately introduce the other to someone who could help them land a job opportunity.

I watched a speaker sit down next to someone, open up their code, and help them understand it.

8 people told us they’re starting new jobs.

More than 10 landed interviews.

Hundreds told me they left feeling revitalized.

And I need y’all to understand something:

That wasn’t me.

That was y’all.

We can book the venue.
We can build the stages.
We can bring in the speakers.

But we cannot manufacture people caring about each other.

You did that.

The greatest luxury of my life is getting to build something like this, were people actually support one another, and then stand in the middle of it with y’all.

WE did it.
