It's been positive to see a little more in the news about the faces, lives and hopes of the people who tragically drowned in the Channel this week, and on the traffickers who caused their deaths, rather than the usual generic slurs against 'migrants'. Language matters.

@JoshEttinger Oh dear, sounds about right! I've noticed that there are still plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers in workplaces, the gym, shopping centres etc, but a lot of them are empty if you actually try using them. Lots of being seen to do the right thing, but not actually caring.

#COP26 We have to say it again and again: By fighting climate change we DON'T fight nature loss, biodiversity loss. They are largely caused by simple habitat destruction (for agriculture, development), pollution, overexploitation, soil degradation and invasive species, pathogens.
