@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules But democracy isn’t perfect either. Your government has corruption too. We care about our people and that is why our system was made the way it was, to make sure every citizen has a fair life.
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules But we are no different then you. Sure your people choose their leaders but then what? Do they choose how the government spends their money? Do they get to choose where your soldiers get to go? And we allow a little voting here and there.
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules Nonsense. Allowing every citizen the right to vote in their leaders would mean not everyone is happy. Also, citizens are not political and they do not how the experience of those in office. The people should just trust their leaders to make the right decisions.
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules The influence of the USSR has spread to different countries most notably China. For decades the communist state has stood strong and taken the failurs of the USSR and made sure they don’t make the same.
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules We have stability and order too. Our leaders keep their citizens and soldiers in line and no one dares question their authority.
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules How do you get things done? Our system gives one part complete authoritarian power to one political part. With one leader at the top decision are made at a reasonable amount of time. And your main leader, the president, can’t declare war?
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules The USSR may have fallen but China is still standing strong. In fact, China is one of your major trading partners. Your democratic United States is relying on the communist state of China to keep their country running. You need to trade with other countries to stay alive
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules And how did that system work for you doing the great depression? The first communist state, the Soviet Union, actually benefited from the great depression thanks to their economic system. Since communism's planned economy we are prepared for disasters like the great depressions.
@Democracy4WH@GovernmentRules We believe having a planned economy is better. Leaving the economy in the hands of the government makes a country strong and have fewer flaws. Leaving the economy in the hands of the people will only bring chaos and ruin the society we have built.
