Thank you @Mount_Pearl#StreetFleet Workers for coming to clear our #LittleFreePantry at the Library!
We've updated our map of pantry locations.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! If you’re out buying groceries consider purchasing an extra can or two and visiting a pantry or food bank in your area. No donation is too small when a person is hungry ❤️
It’s been a minute since we shared anything with you but our volunteers are still busy with our weekly visits. Our donations have been slowly dropping off and we are asking you now to kindly share this tweet so others may help with donations if they wish ☺️
Thank you ❤️
Now that the weather has gotten colder we are once again accepting hats and mitts for our pantries. If you would like to donate please do so by dropping at the Mount Pearl Library during open hours❤️
We are grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the years and for those of you who plan to visit the pantries to help others this Thanksgiving weekend we appreciate you ❤️
Tune in to CBC's The Signal on Radio One this Monday to hear from People with Lived and Living Experience of food insecurity.
They're sharing some of the cost-of-living conversations they're having with friends and neighbours as we head into the colder months.
We are one of the provinces with the highest food insecurity and that is why we continue to visit and stock these pantries once a week. You can help us by dropping food items to the Mount Pearl Library ❤️https://t.co/rKLlXgwHnb
We were just invited to attend a Christmas market in December ☺️
If you have a group that gathers locally for markets or other events please reach out to us. We would love to come and bring our display pantry to gather food and educate the public about who we are and what we do!
We would also like to thank our little group of volunteers who give up their time to deliver these items. If you’d like to donate food or snacks to help these kids through the school year- items are still being collected at the Mount Pearl Library!
Thanks to some of our Twitter friends and @dicksbasics we were able to get 14 school bags filled with supplies and snacks to help kids have a good start to their year. 📚❤️👫
This pantry on Smallwood Drive is stogged. We love to see it! Thank you to our community members who take it upon themselves to keep these full 💕
We appreciate you.
Thinking about back to school supplies yet?! We know- we know - it’s still the middle of summer but our team are thinking ahead and would like to prepare back to school kits for those in need so they can have a fair start. If you’d like to help please message us❤️
If you’re out and about over the next few days consider visiting one of our 7 pantries and donating to them. It feels🥰

Many times when our volunteers visit the pantries there is food already placed in them❤️ We want to reach out and thank our community for stepping up and helping others! We try to visit them at least once a week with supplies. If you’d like to donate please reach out.
We’d like to thank the city staff who help us maintain our pantries by keeping them clear of snow and in good shape to house the food. 💕it’s very much appreciated!
It’s National Public Service Week! Time to celebrate the unsung heroes who make our city a fantastic place to work, live, and thrive!
Show your appreciation this week and say thanks to the real Mount Pearl MVPS (Most Valuable Public Servants)!
