Today community gardens were added to Irish law for the first time.
This important step follows years of discussions & presentations.
More work is needed but huge thanks to @noonan_malcolm@MarcKC_Green@stevensgreen1 & all TDs/Senators for the support.

We had a productive, sun-drenched session in the garden today. From weeding to watering, we got through a mountain of work while soaking up those rare rays. The garden is well and truly waking up for the season. @CommunityGrdns@greenspacescork

Great day today for The Community Garden,as our well has been started, this is an absolute lifeline for us, the last 2 summers we have had to hand water as our rain water system kept leaving us down. We had another visit from a group of Italian students and more seeds planted🌱
Another lovely Saturday in our Community Garden 🌱
Seeds are going in, and the garden is slowly coming back to life after the winter. There’s something special about spending a few hours outdoors together, digging, planting, chatting, and sharing a few laughs along the way.
Today we had a visit from a group of students from Italy who are learning about sustainability and community projects. It was a great opportunity to share ideas, explore the garden together, and talk about how small local actions can make a big difference for our environment 🌱
