I know I'll be downsizing and only collecting a small handful of the 2016 Cubs I added back then. Just not sure which ones and to what extent. maybe I'll dump it all? Been standing at the crossroads for a long time
It's been months since I've done anything meaningful with cards. Tonight I sorted autos/relics/#'d for my PC guys and while I'm proud of my collection, I still have no clue how I want to move forward.
This week, we're talking about Boyz n the Hood, the landmark debut from John Singleton. We discuss the rich characters, the brilliant acting, & the subtle and not-so-subtle social commentary that makes this movie one of the best of the year.
ICYMI, last week we reached our milestone episode 100!
We had to go big, so we finally tackled T2: Judgment Day.
Sure you've seen the movie, but have you heard us talk about it? Will it get a perfect ranking from us? Also, what's wrong with Wolfie? I hear him barking
This week we watched "Hangin' with the Homeboys" a Sundance and Independent Spirit Awards hit. A well-paced comedy that goes many places, literally and figuratively.
It's our third movie featuring John Leguizamo, but the first where he has more than one line of dialogue
This week, we discuss #HanginwiththeHomeboys, a coming-of-age comedy-drama about four friends that get together for their weekly night out in the South Bronx

Okay, when tweetdeck goes away as a free option, I'm done with twitter. I will not be logging into the website version or downloading the app because it really does not do what I want twitter to do and I will not give the company money
so, it's been a good run. Thank you all!
This week we talked in depth about Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever" and all of the sensitive topics surrounding it as well as what we thought about the movie's handling of them.
Also, since tweetdeck is dying, I'll let you know now that in 2 weeks, episode 100 is Terminator 2!
This week, we discuss Jungle Fever, a romantic drama written, produced and directed by #SpikeLee about a successful architect having an interracial affair with his assistant. Also has a beautiful soundtrack by #StevieWonder#PodernFamily#podnation

We watched the 1992 Best Foreign Film Oscar winner "Mediterraneo" and question the Academy's choices. Siskel & Ebert famously walked out of this movie but we sat through the whole thing. Do we regret it? Listen and find out

I like you people, but I've never been too wild about social media stuff and tend to disappear a lot anyway. It's too much of a hassle. If I do fully leave twitter, maybe I'll do a quick blog post to confirm & explain.
Alright, so I may not be on twitter all that much going forward. The app I used for my phone is dead. If tweetdeck goes away, then I'm just done. No way will I use the actual website or app since it refuses to let me use the website without tons of garbage.
This week, we talked about Krzysztof Kieślowski's The Double Life of Véronique. Going in blind, we both had different expectations for what the movie would be. Both of us were wrong, but neither were disappointed. Light on story, but heavy on exploring emotions and the unknown
This week we discuss this Polish drama, The Double Life of Veronique starring Irène Jacob playing dual roles. One woman in Warsaw pursuing a singing career and the other lives in France teaching music

We watched "Raise the Red Lantern" which jumped into both of our top ten lists.
The cinematography reinforces the labyrinthian feel of the palace, and the amazing acting adds a lot of weight to all of the mind games being played.
Happy New Year!
This week, we discuss the Chinese drama, Raise the Red Lantern, in which a young woman is married off to a rich man and becomes his fourth mistress.
