Katie Volynets is one of those players that just always gets love from the market and just always shits the bed. Yastremska looked sharp in qualifying and I just think she blows right through Volynets. It’s a clear baseline mismatch in my opinion. Volynets will be completely outgunned. Volynets doesn’t possess any power on her groundstrokes to be a formidable force in these conditions. She also doesn’t possess a strong serve and struggles to play high quality tennis under pressure. Yastremska is too aggressive of a player in my opinion and will ultimately just put holes through Volynets’ approach.
