Art is powerful, and I love the vision behind the new downtown mural. That said, I wish there were some community guidelines in place so more #HamOnt residents could connect with and appreciate it. Do we really need to promote pot/shroom use at James & York? @Ward2Hamilton

@cityofhamilton bridge at John St North is a sheet of ice. Someone is stuck. I slid down it as carefully as I could. #HamOnt Roads are slippery. Drive safe!
Today, on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we extend our gratitude to the members of Hamilton Police. Your dedication, courage, and tireless efforts to keep #HamOnt safe do not go unnoticed. We appreciate all you do to make our community a better place. Thank you for your commitment to service!

Proud to stand with other elected officials and community organizations to denounce the recent display of hate at Jackson Square in Ward 2. Hamilton has no place for fascism and hate. #HamOnt
The @cityofhamilton is marking Treaties Recognition Week. I'll be taking this opportunity to reflect on both commitments made and promises broken. There's much to learn about how colonial proclamations and legal acts continue to undermine Indigenous sovereignty. #HamOnt
🚨Community Alert 🚨-Distribution of White Supremacist Material in Downtown Hamilton
The Hamilton Anti-Racism Resource Centre is alerting the public about the recent distribution of hateful materials promoting white supremacy, replacement ideology, and anti-immigrant slogans in the downtown area of James St N, between King and King Williams St.
These leaflets are not only offensive but are meant to spread fear and division in our community.
We urge residents to remain vigilant. If you come across these materials, or if you have any information about the individuals or groups responsible for distributing them, please report it immediately and notify HARRC at https://t.co/mcMc5urSbc
Together, we can ensure that Hamilton is a city where communities feel safe and respected.
Attention #HamOnt: We've received reports of suspicious text messages directing recipients to a website requesting credit card information to pay a fine. Please be aware that these messages are fraudulent—the City will never ask for payment via text.
