Commure

Cutting-edge healthcare technology — co-developed with health systems.

30% of patient calls to health systems go unanswered. Our COO @dpcbod breaks down why the phone is where patient access breaks first, and what changes when an AI agent answers every one.

A single home health or hospice referral can run 60 to 80 pages across fax, payer portals and email. How fast an intake team responds decides whether a patient starts care at home or waits in a hospital bed.

That's why we co-developed Commure Orchestrator with @compassus, one of the nation's leading providers of integrated home-based services. Orchestrator now pulls every referral into one place, triages it in real time and matches each patient to available clinicians by geography and discipline.

What that looks like at Compassus:
→ 64% faster referral decisions
→ 22% fewer missed referrals where Orchestrator has run longest
→ 6% more admissions
→ Referral processing down from about an hour to under 10 minutes

@WKHeath, the largest healthcare provider in northwest Louisiana, ran a head-to-head pilot of Commure Ambient AI against another vendor across eight specialties on @MEDITECH Expanse.

The results from clinicians: 88% reported less time in the chart, 95% would recommend Commure to a peer, and over 80% preferred it over the competition.

That pilot is now an enterprise rollout across Willis Knighton's ambulatory clinics, with the ED next.

We joined the HealthLeaders CMO Exchange this week for a roundtable with CMOs and physician executives on patient access, physician efficiency, and AI investment.

The sharpest thread: physician burnout and retention topped the list of concerns, and most in the room see technology as the lever that moves it.

Our CEO @tanay_tandon wrote a viral essay to the team about hiring "heat-seeking missiles for pain": people who run toward problems instead of away from them.

He explains the idea on The @neon_fund Show: the people who detect pain early (customer pain, internal pain, team friction), and go solve it, tend to become the best leaders and grow the fastest inside a startup.

If that sounds like you, we're hiring: https://t.co/IkliNufgBr

Commure showed up at BIKE HSS this weekend as a sponsor, with a number of our team members riding too. The event funds musculoskeletal research at @HSpecialSurgery. Proud to support the work HSS is doing to help people move better.

Ambient AI has to work across languages, time zones, and two-minute gaps between patients.

Justin Paquette hit all three deploying Ambient AI internationally. Found a bug, fixed it same night, shipped it in a week.

Every credit card swipe runs through an adjudication process, an interchange, a bank releasing funds instantly. That system costs 2 to 3% to run.

Healthcare costs 15 to 20% to transact the same kind of information.

Our CEO @tanay_tandon breaks down why that gap exists and what it takes to close it, on the @neon_fund Show.

We're heading to @MEDITECH LIVE, September 29 to October 1 in Foxborough, MA. As a MEDITECH Alliance partner, Commure Ambient AI is embedded directly inside Expanse and Expanse Now, no separate app required.

Find us at the event all three days, where we'll be talking through documentation burden, staffing gaps, and much more: https://t.co/gl7bySDAVr

Should a healthcare integration go through HL7v2, FHIR, or automation against a UI that was never built for it? Someone has to own that call, every time.

As an EM on AI Orchestrator at Commure, you'll:
-Own delivery end to end: intake pipeline, coordinator-facing application, voice automation, and EHR write-back
-Set the integration strategy and decide where to invest in durable interfaces versus UI automation, making those tradeoffs explicit
-Stay technical: design docs, code review, and the occasional production incident

Commure Orchestrator is up for @HHCareNews Product of the Year in Home Health & Home Care Operations Management Software.

Orchestrator reads referrals from fax, email, and portals, runs eligibility checks, and writes straight into the EHR, so intake teams get a full packet and can accept/decline faster. It's processing thousands of referrals weekly across thousands of payers and facilities.

Faster referrals = faster care. Vote through 9/30:

Health systems have answered high call abandonment rates by hiring more reps, but training takes months and high turnover rates reverse any efficiency gains.

An AI call center agent answers every call, 24/7, and books directly into the EHR. Health systems running our Agents have seen schedule rates lift more than 50%.

Forward Deployed Engineers operate where the software meets the patient, alongside physicians with zero tolerance for failure and executives who want proof over promises. There is no safety net and nobody to hand the problem to when it gets hard; it is an elite team by necessity.

Reid Gajewski is one of them. In his first year at Commure, he has deployed Ambient AI into live clinical workflows at scale, including for a cardiologist who spends his entire day moving between rooms.

After the first note, the doctor said he'd finally get time back with his kids, then turned to the exec beside him: "You better not take this away from us. Ever."
