To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the subway with Tokyo Metro, I unveiled a TfL roundel at Ueno station - a gift celebrating our shared transport history.
@lazystalker I'm talking about Japanese tourists in the 70s from first place(So when the Kyoto subway was planned), my point is that there was no way Subway to tourist destinations would be prioritised than the Karasuma line since tourists back then didn't travel like nowadays
@lazystalker@RoyceWilsonAU Bus tours were common thing not only in Kyoto but in Japan in general so not really related. Even the tokyo tower has a parking lot dedicated to bus tours
