@jhabeeb1 We’re not talking about the date, location and venue. We’re talking about whether the contract (which you said didn’t exist) rules out TKO/Zuffa as ceremonial promoters?
Also… you know nothing about contracts. They can absolutely be signed without a date, location and venue
@jhabeeb1 Apologies but I cannot debate with someone who doesn’t really understand contracts, and is inventing a narrative.
You are now flipping between calling this a contract… and a Term Sheet. You are guessing.
@jhabeeb1 Basically you don’t have an argument and never did. You deny a contract which every side has said exists.
So you resort to gifs. It’s the go to when someone realises they have debated something they had no knowledge of.
@jhabeeb1 I genuinely don’t even know why you are replying with this stuff.
The contract that fury and Joshua have both signed to face each other. The contract every party including Turki, Dana, Eddie, Frank and Spencer have referenced. It exists. It is signed.
@jhabeeb1 Again you seem confused by contracts.
They are not telling Riyadh what to do. They are describing an existing clause in the contract which both are publicly stating means no Zuffa/TKO involvement.
As this directly contradicts Dana we have to wait and see what will happen.
@jhabeeb1 Yes they did on multiple interviews. It’s not possible for you to debate this when you don’t really follow the timeline.
I don’t care who pretends to promote the fight btw. As long as it isn’t jeopardised by egos and attempts to fuck with one another.
@jhabeeb1 They already have according to Frank, Eddie and Spencer.
We know the contract is signed and all three have said that it excludes Zuffa specifically as the ‘promoters’ - who are really Riyadh season of course.
@jhabeeb1@Godisalive2024 I’m not sure why you are arguing something so vociferously without the most basic of knowledge.
Eddie, Frank, Spencer, Dana and Turki have all confirmed that fury and Joshua have signed a contract to fight each other already.
The first 3 say it excludes Zuffa as promoters
@jhabeeb1@Godisalive2024 Honestly I don’t even know why we’re debating this.
All that matters is what is in the signed contract - and if there is a dispute about the terminology of who can fake ‘promote’ the event then that will emerge very soon.
The contract has been signed already. Terms are agreed
@jhabeeb1@Godisalive2024 No, I’m saying that when three people - Spencer, Frank and Eddie, all say the same thing there must be some truth in it.
So we’ll have to see if Dana/turki are attempting a workaround, and if so what’s the point and will it jeopardise the fight because of inflated egos
@jhabeeb1@Godisalive2024 Except he didn’t say that at all. Did you even watch the interview? Because you’re like a PR Manager spinning a narrative afterwards - ‘oh what he actually meant was…’ well he didn’t say that.
So has Dana done twice as many shows as all the other promoters combined…?
@jhabeeb1@Godisalive2024 Why are you showing clips of Dana’s press conference as if it’s gospel?
Show a clip of him saying MR had done 6 shows this year - it’s 14+
Show a clip of him saying Zuffa had promoted double the number of shows of every other company.
It’s still one persons word vs another 3
@jhabeeb1@Godisalive2024 Fury and Joshua have both signed contracts which have been viewed and negotiated with their representatives. Those same reps have confirmed the ‘no Zuffa’ clause.
This has been in multiple public interviews.
@jhabeeb1 Frank, Eddie and Spencer have all said this. So either they are lying, Dana is lying or him and Turki are planning some sort of contractual fudge/chicanery where he - and not Zuffa - are the ceremonial ‘promoter’.
Both sides clearly have a differing view on this.
@Godisalive2024@jhabeeb1 Sela are a Majority owner in Zuffa boxing so he’s not that neutral.
I believe Frank, Eddie and Spencer that the contracts state Zuffa cannot be the de facto‘promoter’
So if it’s Dana solo or some other work around it strikes me as being pure fuckery. The fight doesn’t need this
@Pacman145676132@jhabeeb1 You’re missing the point. Eddie and Frank have both said that the contract specifically states that Zuffa can’t be the ceremonial ‘promoter’ of the fight. So perhaps there’s a loophole and it can be Dana himself. Or it’s all just a load of nonsense.
