Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed exploring Twycross Zoo yesterday. They learnt so much about the animals, their habitats and where they originated from. They spent some time connecting their learning to their Geography work, too.

Year 3 had a fantastic time at Hampton Court Palace on Wednesday. They enjoyed learning lots about King Henry VIII, his six wives and what fate they met. They were able to look in the kitchens and apartments within the Palace, and study artefacts related to Henry VIII's life, too

In Geography, 3EW have been exploring images and maps of the land around the school. One map was from the present day, one from 1950 and the other was from 1890. The children were looking at how the land has been used differently, and how some things have stayed the same.
