Last Tuesday, our community cadets stepped back in time with an amazing visit to the Lancashire Mining Museum.

From exploring the site’s rich industrial history to learning about the lives of miners who once worked there, it was a day full of insight, teamwork, and reflection.

Proud of our cadets for their curiosity and respect throughout the trip!

A heartfelt thank you to @spinninggate for their generous gift of bags and cups for our cadets. Your support means a lot and will be put to great use on all our upcoming trips. We truly appreciate everything you do in support of the Charity!

Here at Compassion in Action, we were honoured to host the 'Book Launch' as a tribute to Mr. Tom Boardman, titled 'The Ukulele Man' (a local hero).

A film all about Tom's time as a prisoner of war of the Japanese and his Ukulele, presented by the author, Mr. Ray Withnall, and Tom's son, Mr. Ron Boardman, a very moving and compelling true story, enjoyed by all.

A sincere thanks to Jo Platt MP for taking the time to attend and speak at the event, which meant so much to Ron, Tom's son.

A huge thank you to Cllr. John Harding and staff from Jo's office for attending.

A celebration of a devoted CEO/Founder from humble roots in a Church Hall in 2006 achieving 'Whole Person Care' Practical, Physical, Social and Non Clinical Mental Health.

A sincere heartfelt thanks to our special guest speakers Andy Burnham Gm Mayor, Jo Platt MP, Gen Wong Clinical Director, Keith Cunliffe Deputy Leader, Steve Madden Player Welfare Manager Leigh Leopards, Matt Collier JJ Harrison, President of 20 years, Board, Wonderful staff, volunteers and family.
