All these complaints about Arteta and his treatment of underperforming talent. The problem is in the current Premier League you have to be almost perfect to win the league. It would be at the detriment of that goal to give playing time to underperforming players. Bottom Line.

I wish this wasn't the case but when you are playing against other teams that have crazy amounts of talent there is no time to give on the hope that a player will get out of the funk they are in. Some players need the playing time to do so but big teams don't have that option.
