Highlights from my time at The Southern Summer Showcase in Ellijay, Ga this weekend. 🥎

Thankful for the opportunity and the conversations I had with college coaches this weekend.

No title this time, but CG definitely put some schools on notice.

2027 OF/LHP Tra Johnson (SC) leaving his imprint this evening.

Gets the hands level with the offering and drops it in for a nice 1B. Clean and repeatable swing that lives on a flat path.

Our 2028 class has some special talent at @Completegame_ . Griddy athletes that compete til the last out. Even though the outcome came up short , @Corlando621212 got these boys buying in.

Video of @rylanfarlow showing flashes 90s with crazy Changeup. Great pitching duo with @joshcaston4

Clutch XBH by 2027 3B Brodie Combs (GA) as he smokes a BS laser into the corner.

Empties the loaded bags with a 3B to tie it up. Whippy hands and confidence in the barrel.

Nice look at a well struck 1B here for 2027 OF Tra Johnson (SC)

Hands live above the ball as he shortens and simplifies to do a job. Wiry athlete at 6-foot-3, 197 pounds.

Great looking stuff at 2027 RHP Taylor Stone (GA) before weather halted the QS.

FB: 84-88; run
SL: 71-74
CH: 77-79; heavy

2 solid IPs with only 1H. Showed poise by stranding a couple RISP in the 2nd.

2027 3B Brodie Combs (GA) gives this one a ride right back where it came from.

Powerful and compact cut for a 90 EV barreled 1B.

Farlow would help himself out at the plate as well.

Simple setup with ability to transfer weight well and keep the barrel on-plane in the uphill path.

No-doubt shot to the PS 👇🏻
