Not sure if anyone else has a treadmill that goes under their desk but I finally bought one tonight. Wish I had done this two years ago.
Like many of you, I spend 60+ hours a week at my desk, sitting in my chair and even though I go to the gym every day (sometimes 2x per day)... it's still hard to find enough time for cardio.
Now I don't have any excuses to skip my cardio.
My goal is 60+ minutes of walking per day which should get me to 75 miles per month assuming I can walk at 2.5 mph and get work done (ie scanning charts, researching stocks, updating spreadsheets, sending emails, jumping on zoom calls, day trading, putting together newsletters, etc).
I'm certainly no expert on treadmills but this is the one I ended up buying... https://t.co/k8x90gD6jQ
I went with this particular for the following reasons...
1) 3.5hp motor (most of these lightweight, foldable, under the desk treadmills are 2.0hp or 2.5hp)
2) detachable handles so it's easier to store under my bed or in a closet
3) up to 6 degree incline
4) the workspace is big enough to hold a laptop
If anyone else has one of these treadmills and you really like it feel free to chime in and post the links.
