There’s a growing list of problems afflicting this scepter’d isle. No wonder when we’ve got…
18th century Monarchy
19th century institutions
20th century political ideologies
But
21st century problems
If only we had a toolmaker to forge new instruments of state…
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman I didn’t say that I believe ‘others can’t live there’. It is not 100% v nothing else, but the overwhelming populous of a nation should remain ethnically true to its core.
@Medievalhtybuff Eastern Orthodox Christians do refer to him as Saint. The Catholics don’t, and the Anglicans don’t bestow the title of Saint on anyone (to my knowledge) but they do honour and recognise pre-reformation saints.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman You answered that Japan should be the rightful homeland of the ethnic Japanese people. That is an ethno-nationalist argument; ergo, you believe in ethno-nationalism. Just seemingly not for white people.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman No, I’ve said that ethno-nationalism is the default position. You’ve already admitted that you’re an ethnonationalist. British ethno-nationalists believe Britain should remain a majority white country. I don’t think this is problematic or controversial.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman Because Britain is a white country. And as has been proven countless times through history across the world, the majority determine the rules of the game & immigrants and their descendants can & have been removed when the majority wills it, because you know, ethno-nationalism.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman I’m drilling down to what matters. Britain is part of Europe but you’re saying Europe was never white. Was Britain not a white country?
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman I’m not interested in playing your silly games. You stated you’re an ethno-nationalist, just not for white people, but importantly for Zimbabweans, which was only achieved by killing white Britons and throwing the rest out the country. You’re a moron of the highest order.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman Certainly not White Britons, because they were kicked out in 1947, despite some of them being of families that had lived in the Indian subcontinent for 200 years and had never been to Britain. Because, you know, ethnic-nationalism.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman Yes I have travelled around India. But that is irrelevant. You have stated that you believe in ethno-nationalism. And in the case of Zimbabwe, ethno-nationalism was re-achieved by throwing out the whites (Rhodesia). But you scoff and mock the idea of a white Europe. How ironic.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman How about you answer a question or two and see where we get.
Yes or no, do you think the following nation-states should be the rightful homeland of their respective peoples:
1) Japan and Japanese
2) Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans
3) India and Indians
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman That historically white countries - basically most of Europe; is the home of ethnically white peoples, & are no longer strictly ‘white’ - some less so than others. Ethno-nationalists (the default position based on the origin of nations) quite clearly see this as a problem.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman It’s not ad hominem when it’s factual. You deliberately distort. I described the phenomenon of nation-states generally, not white countries.
@PeterSchof1415@benwehrman Do you deliberately mis-read, or are you really just that thick? All nations tend to have origin myths, the skin colour of that said nation is irrelevant. Origin myths are a foundational facet of shared identity.
