Rudd yesterday showed to the entire world why he still hasn’t won a major. He had many opportunities in set two but didn’t grab any because he played safe; Whilst the young 19 year old Fonseca was going for his shots fearlessly without worrying about mistakes in important moments.

Hope I am not the only tennis fan who is sick and tired of this legendary bs presence that is refusing to leave; Hope there are many others in the world who want to see new players in the sport instead of the same 39 year old record hunting vultures of the past gasping for air. Jannik sinner is the only man to do it and it came at a cost unfortunately. He can prioritise and schedule better if he wants to be 100% at slams; it’s a great loss and a great lesson. It was quite an Exceptional clay swing.
